What's Included

  • CP883 – Head Stud Kit (2004–2024 4.8L–6.2L Gen III/IV LS) — clamp your heads down for boost, nitrous, or high-compression builds.
  • MS334 – Main Stud Kit (1999–2015 4.8L–6.2L Gen III/IV LS) — superior main cap clamping for a rock-solid bottom end.
  • CP236 – Harmonic Balancer Bolt (1997–2015 LS) — the factory balancer bolt is torque-to-yield and single-use. This hardened replacement is a must when the front of the engine comes apart.
  • CP120 – 3/8" Hex Flange Header Bolt Kit (Gen III/IV LS) — premium 8740 chromoly header hardware to finish the job right.
  • CP113 – Flywheel Bolt Kit (1999–2015 Gen III/IV Small Block) — precision-engineered flywheel hardware for manual-transmission builds.

Fitment Notes

Important: Primary head bolts must all be the same length. There is a mid-year split on Gen III/IV head bolt lengths — if your engine uses two different primary bolt lengths, this kit's head studs are not the correct fit. Verify your application before ordering.

Head stud kit fits selected 2004+ Gen III/IV LS 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L and 6.2L applications. Main stud, balancer, header and flywheel hardware fitment years are listed per component above.

Why Bundle?

XOTIC 7200 material properties allow for far greater tensile strength compared to 8740 Chromoly steel head studs. Threads are rolled after heat treatment for optimum fatigue strength.
