Engineering details
Thread, drive and bearing surface.
The internal thread engages the fastener, while the hex exterior provides the tool interface. The integral flange forms the bearing surface beneath the nut.
Match the thread.
The 1/2-20 UNF RH internal thread must match the mating fastener. Check both diameter and pitch.
Hex drive flats.
The external hex flats accepts a 3/4 in socket.
Bearing flange.
The integral round bearing flange forms the nut’s seating face. Match this surface to the assembly’s hardware requirements.
