XOTIC PERFORMANCE™ was founded in 2018 by a team of Canadian performance enthusiasts in Ontario, built on one conviction: engine hardware should be priced for builders, not collectors. Holding down a cylinder head shouldn't cost as much as the head itself.
Fasteners are the heart of what we do — head studs, main studs, head bolts, rod bolts, and the hardware that keeps a built engine together. But they're not the whole story. Our catalog has grown into a full line of engine components and tools: rocker arms, intercooler and charge pipes, fuel and oil system components, valve covers, thread chasers, ring compressors, and more — all built on the same idea. Match the specs that matter, test what you build, and price it so there's money left in your budget for the parts that make power.
Where Our Parts Are Made
We're not going to make you dig for this, because you shouldn't have to. Our products are engineered and specified in Canada and manufactured to those specifications in China. Our fasteners are built on our dedicated production line — run exclusively for XOTIC PERFORMANCE™ — at an ISO-certified factory, with the tolerances, controlled-atmosphere heat treatment, and post-heat-treat thread rolling that determine whether a stud holds at high boost. Every fastener batch is strength-tested, hardness-tested, and serialized for full traceability under our lifetime warranty. Our engine components and tools are built by partner factories to the same standard: our specs, our fitment engineering, our quality checks before anything ships.
We know some buyers hesitate at "Made in China." We'd rather address that head-on than dance around it: what determines a part's quality is the material, the process, the tolerances, and who verifies them — and we publish all of it.
Why our prices are lower
Same straight answer as "where are they made": manufacturing on our dedicated production line in China costs less than making the same part domestically — and we price accordingly. We're also a young brand running lean, so you're not paying for decades of name recognition or layers of corporate overhead. What we don't cut: material spec, heat treatment, thread rolling, and batch testing. And we stand behind every order with a lifetime warranty on all our fasteners, a perfect-fit guarantee, and 30-day no-questions-asked returns. A company cutting corners can't afford to warranty its parts for life. We can.
